Woz victorious in a blazing 800m run

By Nancy Tinari

Warren McCulloch proved once again that masters athletes can stay speedy with smart, consistent training. At the B.C. Masters Track & Field meet held in Langley, Warren took the lead in the 800m race right from the gun. According to plan, he ran 59 seconds for the first 400m. A fellow competitor followed him gamely for 600m, but Woz broke clear to win in a time of 2:02.55. This time age-grades to 91%! It is all the more impressive considering that Warren led the whole way, under windy conditions.

Never one to shy away from competition, Woz also contested the 400m race. His time of 56.09 was very respectable for his second race of the day, but he reports that he was second to a competitor in an older age group!

Watch out for more track action coming up, as Warren and other Phoenix runners will be competing in the Hershey Harriers All-comer's Meet #2 on Tuesday, June 22 at the Percy Perry Stadium at Coquitlam Town Centre.

Last summer I had gone for a karate camp, it did not have more than one activity…this summer I‘m looking out for many summer activities, best yoga Zenergy’, fitness training Enerjoy Fitness’, Oxford Learning, climbing, playing climbing related games. I found this event 'AZR SUMMER CAMP’ on http://www.azontherocks.com/kids_stuff/climbing_camps.aspx. It has all these activities which I’m looking out for. I have already registered myself for this event. I’m happy I’m learning something new and loving it there. You should give yourself an opportunity to learn something new too. I will be signing for their Body and Brain Camp too.
