I have been thinking a lot about Dave today as he raced his last race a year ago today (Aug 10) in Spokane.
I'm not sure if this has been mentioned before but I came across this article recently written by Nancy. Dave was awarded a Golden Shoe award for "Role Model in 2008" by Canadian Running magazine. Personally, I was very inspired by Dave and hope to carry on in his footsteps.
